I'm just going to take the Red Sox / Yankees rivalry for this example, as this is actually the thing that I saw.
So tell me this. If you're a Red Sox fan, which one of these would you be offended more?
- Seeing a guy with a Red Sox cap with Yankees color / Yankees cap with Red Sox color
- Seeing a guy wearing a Yankees jersey and Red Sox cap at the same time
Okay so I tried googling it and I think there's no franchise in this world that would even produce a cap with the rivals' colorway, so that was kinda added for a comparison. But I DID see someone on example #2,
kinda like this guy. Granted I'm not a big fan of either baseball teams but I did the right thing and gave him shit because of that. Like, come on now. Be reasonable, and stop acting ignorant. Can you imagine? A Michigan cap with Ohio State tee? A Laker jersey and Celtics cap during last years finals? Only one word to describe this. POSERRRRRRRRRRR.
